Introducing the new Roastify designer!

After months of hard work, we are excited to announce the launch of our new designer. The new designer allows for merchants to reuse their saved designs, auto save their progress while designing, choose from a variety of templates (which we will continue to expand on the catalog), and view their mockups in 3D. We hope you love it as much as we do! Check it out now and let us know what you think or what we can do to improve it.
Introducing the new designer!
After months of hard work, we are excited to announce the launch of our new designer! The new designer allows for merchants to reuse their saved designs, auto save their progress while designing, choose from a variety of templates (which we will continue to expand on the catalog), and view their mockups in 3D. We hope you love it as much as we do! We have released this into the wild a few weeks ago for early testing, and have been tweaking it and will continue to improve upon it in the future. Please let us know what you think or what we can do to improve it. <iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Dl2TAZ-bFCk?si=Ifv2-rOVR4Ek-8F3" title="Roastify | Introducing New Designer" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen class="w-full sm:h-96 h-60"
Reuse your saved designs
One major feedback item we have been hearing is that merchants would like to reuse their designs without having to start over from scratch. A common use case is designing a product for a specific variant (whole bean or ground) and wanting to reuse that design for the other variant. Hopefully this is a good step in the right direction and helps you save time and effort.

Auto-save your progress
Another common feedback item was that merchants would like to have their progress saved automatically. You can now save your design manually [ File -> Export -> Project .json ], but the designer also saves a copy of your designs automatically every 1 minute for up to 6 copies. This way, if you accidentally close the tab or your browser crashes, you can restore your progress. This should hopefully provide some peace of mind for those that have had their progress lost in the past, or want to try something out without worrying about losing their current design.

Choose a template
In addition to providing previously saved designs, we are also starting to roll out more templates to provide a well balanced starting point for those who either lack the creative inspiration (myself included), or find a template to fit their brand with just a few tweaks. You can choose a template when you start a new design. For the time being, most of the templates are pretty coffee 'generic', but we will start adding more categories and themes in the future. Examples such as "Holidays", "Seasonal", "Specialty", and more. Think weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

View your mockups in 3D
Lastly, we have added the ability to view your mockups in 3D. This is a feature that we have been wanting to add for a while, and we are excited to finally have it in the designer. We've had a few iterations of a 3D viewer in the past, but all of them had a few issues that made adoption difficult. We hope this one is a bit more polished, easier to use, and generates higher resolution images than before.

Get started
There are many other smaller updates and tweaks you'll notice, but these are the major changes we wanted to highlight. We hope you love the new designer as much as we do, and we can't wait to hear your feedback. You can start using the new designer today by visiting the Roastify designer app and logging in with your Roastify account. If you don't have an account, you can sign up for one at merchant.roastify.app.
